Big Hooves Open New Store

Big Hooves Little Paws Have just expanded from their main premises on Nestfield Industrial Estate to include a new store on North Road in Darlington. Screentech was again asked to do the signage and window displays for the new store. We wish them every success with this new venture and helps them establish themselves as the premier animal feed and accessory suppliers in the region.

Fast Turnaround for Fastflow

One of the more regular jobs we do here at Screentech is the supply of site safety signs for major contractors and their suppliers nationwide. As is usually the case, orders come in for these types of sign when stocks are almost out, thus meaning the new stock is needed urgently. As soon as the order arrived for 400 signs, we made sure that the stock of board needed to do the job was ordered in for next day delivery.

As soon as the boards arrived we began the 3 colour screenprint process. With drying times taken into account, the boards were printed ready for die cutting within two days of the order being placed. After a quick trip to the die cutters to shape the board edges we began the process of punching fixing holes into the boards.

The job was finally finished just 3 full days from receipt of the order. Another happy customer for Screentech!

We all know that when it comes to promoting your business at an exhibition, we would all want to make sure every bit of advertising our business was covered properly. Thanks to a recommendation from Koodoo Creative, a web design agency, Muddy Bikes came to us with a van he needed graphics putting on in time for an exhibition, only two days away.

Once the artwork had been finalised with Koodoo, we set about printing the graphics off ready for fitting the day before the exhibition. Due to the nature of the job and the timescale allowed, everything had to run as smoothly as possible in order to meet the deadline.

Despite the tight deadline, all the staff involved put in the extra time and care required in order to make sure Muddy Bikes were able to look their best at the exhibition.

Recently, Screentech undertook some work for K.D Systems, a corporate interiors company based in Newcastle, Leeds and London. They were in the process of refitting some office premises for Morrison, who maintain rented housing stock nationwide. Part of the remit of K.D Systems contract was to supply new signage for the front of the new premises.

Following discussions with K.D Systems, we recommended built up lettering, stove enamelled and digitially printed to match the Morrison corporate colour guidelines.
Once all the old signage of the previous occupier had been removed from the building, we covered the face of the silver cladding in white dibond to keep to the guidelines and mounted the built up lettering over this.

When it comes to working up a height like on this job, we have no worries! Fortunately we were blessed with a sunny and wind free day, a rare event on the Team Valley in Gateshead.

We look forward to doing more work with K.D Systems in the future.
